Did you struggle to keep away from meat? Did you also hate veggies like me haha? How did ya family take this new version of you! Any tips and tricks to how I could make this veggie life style easier?
Just generally, what was the hardest thing to let go off and how long did it take until ya'll got into the groove.
I am super lucky to live in the bay area so even when I was a young veggie eater I almost always had lots of options. My parents were also super accommodating to me; my mom used to make me a separate dinner from the rest of my family. I used to crave meat sometimes but that's gone away, especially because of the quality and quantity of available fake meat options; sometimes they scare me because it tastes too real.
Because I did my transition in steps, first cutting out red meat and then going vegetarian, it was super easy! I was also pretty young so I don't remember much about my transition.
I think my biggest tip would be don't be afraid to try new things! and also tofu isn't gross you're just not cooking it right.
